Job Vacancy: Join Cardiomyopathy UK's Specialist Nurse Team

Cardiomyopathy UK are looking for a motivated specialist nurse to join their specialist nurse team. We are looking for a nurse with experience of working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist within the field of Inherited Cardiovascular Conditions including cardiomyopathy (ICC).

This is a position requiring excellent specialist clinical skills and self-motivation to work remotely. The post holder will be a knowledgeable RGN (active on NMC register) who can bring their valuable experience with them to join our specialist nurse team. They must have experience of working in a Specialist Nurse role within inherited cardiac conditions and knowledge of cardiomyopathy and related conditions.

The main focus of this role is to respond to incoming calls to our nurse service helpline, as well as respond to emails, closed Facebook group enquiries, and website live chat enquiries, by providing empathetic and accurate information to individuals. The post holder will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the dissemination of up-to-date and reliable information, and advocate for patients by connecting them with appropriate resources and support networks. They may also be required to assist with the development of educational materials relevant to our community, represent the charity at external events, and facilitate online support group meetings and nurse team live webinars.

· NHS band 6 equivalent salary
