Supporting genomic information sharing in families: Survey for Clinicians

1 min read

If you have a moment, researchers at Universities of Sheffield, Southampton and Oxford would be grateful if you could share your knowledge by participating in an online survey on clinician attitudes and experiences around genomic information sharing.

With a growing focus on genomic medicine in the NHS, we want to better understand how clinicians support their patients to share genomic information with at-risk adult relatives, their confidence in doing so, and their training/ support needs. This study will inform the development of digital tools to provide support around genomic information sharing.

This survey takes around 15 minutes to complete on QuestionPro. You will not be required to share your name as part of the survey. You will only be asked to share your email address if you wish to be contacted about future research or enter a prize draw to win a £50 donation to your chosen charity.

Please feel free to share the link with your colleagues and contacts in any healthcare specialty where adult genomic testing is carried out (neurology, oncology, cardiology, genetics etc.). We would like to include a range of clinicians (nurses, consultants, resident doctors, genetic counsellors etc.) from across the UK.
