A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the British Inherited Cardiovascular Conditions Society Conference 2025 and for your wider support for the Society’s work throughout the year. Your participation, presentations and discussions are what make this meeting such a valuable forum for everyone involved in inherited cardiovascular care across the UK.​ Please do complete the feedback form to help us refine and plan for next year’s conference. 

 

2025 has seen important progress for our community, with growing multidisciplinary ICC services, closer collaboration between cardiology, genetics and pathology, and increasing alignment with national priorities on earlier diagnosis and prevention. BICCS has continued to strengthen its role as a national network for clinical excellence, education and advocacy, including through representation at major national meetings and in wider partnerships focused on improving inherited cardiovascular services.​

 

Looking ahead to 2026, the Society will build on this momentum, working with members and partners to support updated service specifications, expand education and training opportunities, and promote research and innovation that directly benefit patients and families with inherited cardiovascular conditions. Your continued engagement—through local service development, research, teaching and participation in BICCS activities—will be central to that effort.​
