Rabeea Siddiqui

Rabeea Siddiqui is a Highly Specialised Senior Cardiac Physiologist and lead for the EP service and Ambulatory Monitoring Services at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. With more than 15 years of experience in adult and paediatric cardiology, she specialises in EP and CRM in the context of congenital heart disease and inherited cardiac conditions.

She did her training as a physiologist in Toronto and Winnipeg, Canada and moved to the UK in 2015. She has been working as Paediatric Cardiac Physiologist since 2017.

Rabeea holds an MSc in Cardiac Rhythm Management and Electrophysiology and is currently undertaking an MSc in Genomics Education at the University of Exeter. Her academic interests focus on bridging clinical practice with emerging technologies, particularly the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve risk prediction in inherited arrhythmia syndromes.

She is actively involved in research and education, with published abstracts in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society. Her current interests include inherited cardiac conditions, genomics, sudden cardiac death syndromes, and the development of innovative approaches to improve outcomes for children and young people with cardiovascular disease.
